Art Therapy and Counseling

Together, we can begin to make meaningful, lasting change. Meet the therapist:

Outside of sessions you can find me long distance running, exploring with my dog, Scout, painting and trying out new art mediums, reading, and spending quality time with family and friends! I am a coffee and plant lover.

Hi there! I’m Kimmy (she/her).

I’m a therapist who specializes in working with children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, religious and relational trauma, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and struggles with self-worth, and authenticity. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from who you are, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out on your own.

You may find yourself struggling with uncertainty about your needs, showing up authentically in relationships, navigating deep questions of identity, or feeling that the survival strategies that you’ve carried for so long are no longer helping you. You deserve to feel seen, heard, and supported. Together, we can work toward understanding your needs, healing from past wounds, and cultivating a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

Many of the people I work with are in the process of unlearning harmful messages—especially those rooted in rigid belief systems or unhealthy relationship patterns. Whether you’re healing from experiences in high-control religious environments, family systems that silenced your voice, or relationships where you felt unsafe to be yourself, our work together can help you reconnect with your inner truth.

I offer an integrative approach that includes art therapy, talk therapy, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). These modalities support healing not just through insight, but also through creativity, the body, and the nervous system. My goal is to create a space where all parts of you are welcome—especially the ones that have felt hidden, rejected, or silenced.

Healing starts when you’re ready to be seen and supported. Together, we can nurture your strength, tend to the wounds that ache, and gently open the door to a future where you feel more alive—more whole, more yourself, and deeply at home in your own skin.
